Michael and Joan Hoxsey have been working together for over thirty years in a variety of settings including a dozen years as the Directors of the Office of Marriage and Family Ministry in the Diocese of Youngstown Ohio. Raised in the Northwest, Michael and Joan along with their six children came to Ohio in 1979.Joan was the Ohio State Building Family Strengths Trainer for the University of Nebraska 's (Lincoln) Center for Family Strengths. The Hoxseys served as both Regional and State Chairpersons of the National Association of Family Life Ministers. They are Certified as a Leader Couple by The Association for Couples in Marriage Enrichment.

Joan was the first Executive Director for the Lorain County Ohio Family and Children First Council and the Project Director of the Hamilton County “Help Me Grow” Project. She holds a Masters Degree in Community Counseling and a Doctorate of Ministry degree. Michael holds a Masters Degree in Church Management. Together Michael and Joan have given hundreds of workshops and retreats. AI has proven to be powerful key for unlocking the potential of their personal relationship. They currently facilitate AI workshops for business and for couples. Joan is a Co-Owner of AI Consultants and she and Michael own Relationship Resources, LLC.
